【Cultural Experiences in Sendai Tanabata Festival】

Date: August 6th – 8th, 2023

Venue: au Style SENDAI 2nd Floor Event Space

A) Mini Tanabata Decoration-making Workshop

Date: August 6th – 8th 11am – 4pm (Last entry 3:30pm)

Time: 30 minutes - 1 hour

Capacity: First 50 people/day

Price: 700 yen/person tax incl.

* Box available for additional fee.

* Supported by Machikuru Sendai

Celebrate the festival by making your own mini Tanabata decoration with the view of beautiful Tanabata decorations. You can take home your decoration as a souvenir!

 

B) Tanabata Decoration Costume Wearing & Photo Session with Tanabata Friends

Date: August 6th – 8th 11am – 4pm (Last entry 3:45pm)

Time: 10 minutes

Capacity: Up to 3-4 people/session (3 Adults・1 child)

Price: 1,000 yen/person tax incl. * Additional 500 yen/person tax incl. for groups.

* Select a size from the ones below.

2 sets of LARGE for women / 1 set of SMALL for women / 1 set of 120cm size for children

* The staff will take photos with your mobile phone or camera.

* Location of the photo session is au Style SENDAI 2nd floor event space or in Vlandome Ichibancho Shopping Street.

* Required time for photo shooting is 2 to 3 minutes.

* Supported by Tanabata Friends

Wouldn't it be a great idea to take a commemorative photo with the members of “Tanabata Friends” who are dressed in Tanabata decoration costumes? This is your chance to transform into a Sendai Tanabata decoration!

 

C) Icing Cookie Decorating Workshop * Registration Required by 14:00 August 4, 2023 ← Extended!

Date: August 6th 11am – 4pm

Time: 40 minutes

Capacity: Up to 10 people/session

Price: 1,600 yen/person tax incl.

* Contains wheat, eggs and milk.

Try your hand at decorating cute Tanabata and Kokeshi cookies with icing. In addition, we offer you a tin container to take home and icing this time, so don't miss it!

 

D) Experience Nyan Kokeshi Doll Painting & Printing with Eraser Stamp

Date: August 7th – 8th 11am – 4pm (Last entry 3:30pm)

Time: 30 minutes

Capacity: First 30 people/day

Nyan Kokeshi 1,500 yen tax incl.

Paper Fan 300 yen tax incl.

Drawstring pouch 500 yen tax incl.

You will be able to color a small, cat-shaped Kokeshi doll as you like and make the most unique Nyan Kokeshi in the world! We also recommend making an original paper fan and a drawstring pouch by pressing eraser stamps made by a local artisan.

 

 【文化体験 in 仙台七夕まつり】

仙台七夕まつりの会場を眺めながら、手持ちサイズのミニ七夕飾りが作れます。作品はお持ち帰りできるのでお土産にもぴったり！

 

B) 七夕飾り変身体験 & 会いたなメンバーと写真撮影会

開催日時：2023年8月6日（日）～8月8日（火）11:00～16:00（最終受付15:45）

所要時間：約10分

定員：1回3～4名まで（大人3名・子供1名）

参加費：お一人 1,000円（税込） ※2人目以降 お一人 500円（税込）

大人女性用 Lサイズ 1着 / 大人女性用 Mサイズ 2着 / 子供用 120cmサイズ 1着

※お客様の携帯電話またはカメラで、イベントスタッフが撮影いたします
